Danphe Stores App
A native-quality iOS and Android app that links in-store and online purchases into one customer account — with a rewards program that doubled customer spending.

The challenge
Danphe Stores had already unified its online storefront with its in-house Square POS, but the customer relationship was still split in two. Someone who shopped in the aisles on Saturday and ordered online on Wednesday looked like two different people to the business. There was no way to recognise a loyal customer across both channels, no way to reward repeat spending, and no direct line to shoppers once they left the store. Every transaction also ended in a printed paper receipt — costly to produce, easy to lose, and impossible to build anything on.
What we did
We built a single cross-platform app for iOS and Android, sharing one codebase so both platforms ship and stay maintained together. At its centre is one customer identity that links in-store POS purchases and online orders into a single account and a single purchase history — scan at the till or check out on your phone, and it lands in the same place. On top of that we built a rewards program that accrues on both channels, so shopping in person and shopping online finally count toward the same thing. Every purchase also issues a digital receipt in the app, available instantly and searchable later.
The outcome
The rewards program doubled customer spending, turning occasional shoppers into repeat ones by making loyalty visible and worth pursuing. Linking the two channels gave Danphe a single view of each customer for the first time, and a direct channel to reach them. In-app receipts have measurably reduced the number of customers opting for paper at the till — cutting waste and print costs while giving shoppers a permanent, searchable record of what they bought.
