Mount Everest Kitchen & Bar
A new Kitsilano sister restaurant to Mount Everest Kitchen & Grill — with a website designed to feel like it belongs on the beach side of Vancouver.
The challenge
Mount Everest Kitchen & Bar opened as a new branch of the established Kitchen & Grill — but in Kitsilano, Vancouver's relaxed, coastal neighbourhood. The new location needed its own digital presence: one that captured the easygoing, upscale-casual Kits vibe rather than simply copying the original restaurant's website.
What we did
We designed and built a website tuned to the relaxed, coastal character of Kitsilano — capturing the neighbourhood's laid-back, upscale-casual mood while keeping a clear link to the Mount Everest name and its cuisine. Every choice, from imagery to typography to tone, was made to feel local to Kits rather than transplanted from the original location.
The outcome
A site that feels at home in Kitsilano — distinct enough to give the new bar its own identity, familiar enough to carry the trust of the Mount Everest brand. Visitors get an immediate sense of the place before they ever walk through the door.
